Meet the Faces Behind the Magic:
Get to Know Our Amazing Team

Ana Maria Veranes
My name is Ana María, but my family and husband affectionately call me Tati, while my friends know me as Ana or Anita, and I love each version of my name! My favorite food is seafood, and I never miss a chance to enjoy a good meal that reminds me of the ocean. I graduated with a degree in Clinical Psychology in 2013, and I am currently working as an RBT while studying to become a Behavior Analyst, with God’s blessing and guidance. My greatest passion is learning something new every day, I truly enjoy studying, growing, and finding ways to share positive energy and motivation with everyone around me. Nothing fulfills me more than knowing I can influence others in a positive way. My family is my heart, I live with my husband and our 5-year-old son, who fills our days with laughter and love. In my free time, I love spending quality time with my family, going out, exploring new places, and simply having fun together. What I love most about working at ABS is how quickly it felt like home. The sense of belonging, the warmth, and the beautiful social connection that develops with my teammates make every day special. My biggest goal at ABS is to continue growing so that I can soon become a Behavior Analyst and contribute even more, intellectually and emotionally, to the many families and children whose lives we have the privilege to impact.

Iraida Caballero
My name is Iraida Caballero, and I am originally from Matanzas, Cuba. I studied Accounting and worked as an Accountant at the Citrus Company of Matanzas, where I developed a deep appreciation for organization, precision, and teamwork, values that continue to guide me in everything I do. One of my greatest joys is Cuban cuisine. I love its flavors, traditions, and the way food brings people together. Cooking is one of my favorite pastimes, and I enjoy preparing meals that remind me of home and allow me to express love and creativity through every dish.I live with my husband and youngest son, who bring endless happiness and motivation into my life. Family means everything to me, and during my free time, I cherish those moments spent together, laughing, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company. I also take pride in dedicating special time to my husband; nurturing our bond is something I value deeply. What I love most about working at ABS is the sense of community, support, and collaboration that defines our team. I find great purpose in helping others and being someone my coworkers and clients can rely on. Every day, I strive to give my best, provide excellent service, and grow not only professionally but also personally. My goal is simple yet meaningful, to become a better person each day, to continue learning, and to keep contributing positively to those around me. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the ABS family, where kindness, teamwork, and growth come together to make a real difference.

Craft Day in ABS
Date: November 19
Activity: Thanksgiving turkey handprint craft
Supplies Needed:
- White cardstock or construction paper
- Washable paints
- Paintbrushes or sponges
- Brown craft foam or brown paper (for the turkey’s body)
- Orange and yellow paper scraps (for beak and feet)
- Googly eyes
- Glue stick or craft glue
- Pencil
- Set Up Your Workspace: Place the white paper on a flat surface and arrange the paint colors in small containers.
- Paint the Feathers: Using a brush, paint your child’s hand with one color at a time (red, yellow, orange, green). Press their hand onto the paper, forming a semicircle of handprints, these will be the turkey’s feathers. Let it dry.
- Create the Body: Cut an oval shape from brown craft foam or paper and glue it in the center, overlapping the bottom of the feathers.
- Add Details: Glue on two googly eyes, a small orange triangle for the beak, and two little paper feet.
- Optional Touch: Draw a wattle (the red part under the beak) and outline the feathers with a marker if you want to make them pop. Let dry completely and display your colorful handprint turkey proudly!
As we gather to celebrate gratitude, we want to take a moment to thank each of you for the dedication, compassion, and teamwork you bring to ABS every single day. This season reminds us that the greatest strength of our community lies in the people who make it shine, our staff, families, and children.
