Meet the Faces Behind the Magic:

Get to know your ABS team !

Arianne Pimentel

Arianne Pimentel

My name is Arianne, and I am a Chemical Engineer who graduated in Cuba in 2011. I moved to the United States in 2017 and began my journey in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Since then, I have been committed to expanding my knowledge and growing professionally. I completed ABA coursework in Spain toward my BCaBA certification and am currently pursuing a master's degree with the goal of sitting for the BCBA board exam. I have a passion for learning, professional development, and good food. In my free time, I enjoy baking cakes, which allows me to express my creativity and relax. My greatest motivation is my beautiful daughter and my husband, who are my constant source of love, support, and inspiration. What I enjoy most about working at ABS is the collaborative environment and the opportunities for growth and development. Being part of a team that is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families is incredibly rewarding. I look forward to continuing to contribute to the team, advancing in my career, and growing within the field of ABA.

Ailyn Durruthy

Ailyn Durruthy

My name is Ailyn de la Caridad Durruthy Elias, although my family and closest friends call me "Flaca." My favorite food is arroz con pollo a la chorrera. I studied Medicine and currently work as an RBT at ABS. I consider myself a responsible, committed person who is always eager to learn and continue growing professionally. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and exercising. My closest family includes my maternal grandmother, my mother, my maternal aunt, my sister, four cousins, and my seven-month-old niece. We are a close-knit family that plays an important role in my life, and I am grateful to share all of my special moments with them. In my free time, I enjoy reading and staying active. I love going to the gym because it helps me maintain a healthy lifestyle and clear my mind. I believe that taking care of our health is one of the best investments we can make in ourselves. What I enjoy most about working at ABS is the opportunity to work with children. I believe that childhood is one of the most important stages of a person's development, and supporting children with unique needs makes our work even more meaningful. I am motivated by the positive impact that therapy can have not only on children but also on their families. For me, working at ABS is not only an opportunity to do what I am passionate about, but also a way to contribute to meaningful change. My goal is to continue growing professionally within the field while helping support the progress and success of the children and families we serve.

Congratulations to our team members celebrating a work anniversary this June! Your dedication, commitment, and the passion you bring to your work make a meaningful difference in the lives of the families we serve. Thank you for being an essential part of ABS and for the impact you make every day. We look forward to many more milestones together!

ABS News and Activities

Accurate data collection is one of the most important parts of effective ABA services. Consistent and reliable data helps our team track progress, identify patterns, make informed clinical decisions, and ensure each client receives the best possible support.

This month, we encourage all team members to focus on:

  • Timely documentation
  • Objective and precise recording
  • Consistency across sessions
  • Attention to detail

Remember: quality data leads to meaningful progress.

We're excited to share a new update to our intranet process. Employees who would like to request a position change can now submit their request directly through the Help & Support section on the intranet. This update helps streamline communication and ensures requests are directed to the appropriate team for review and follow-up.

To submit a request:

  • Go to the intranet
  • Open the Help & Support section
  • Select the position change request option
  • Complete and submit the form

Thank you for helping us continue improving our internal processes and support systems at ABS.

This month corresponds to the completion of the Supervisor Self-Assessments. We kindly ask all supervisors to complete their self-assessment within the designated timeframe. These assessments are an important part of professional growth, reflection, and continued development within our leadership teams.

This month also corresponds to the completion of the Supervisor Evaluations by Supervisees. All supervisees are required to complete their evaluation within the designated timeframe. These evaluations help support professional growth, strengthen communication, and improve the overall supervision experience across ABS. Thank you for your participation and continued support in helping us grow together as a team.

As temperatures continue to rise this summer, this is a friendly reminder to prioritize your health and well-being throughout the workday.

Remember to:

  • Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water
  • Take short breaks when needed
  • Spend a few moments outdoors or away from screens when possible
  • Prioritize rest and self-care outside of work

Taking care of yourself helps you continue showing up with energy, focus, and support for those around you. Small wellness habits can make a big difference.

June is recognized as Immigrant Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the cultures, traditions, stories, and contributions of immigrant communities.

At ABS, we value the diversity that strengthens our community and recognize the importance of creating inclusive, supportive, and culturally respectful environments for all families.

This month serves as a reminder that every story, background, and experience brings value, connection, and growth to our community.

This month, we celebrate National Children's Day, a time to recognize, support, and appreciate the joy, individuality, and potential of every child.

At ABS, we are proud to support children and families every day by creating meaningful opportunities for growth, learning, communication, and connection.

We will also be celebrating Children's Day at our centers on June 15, 2026.

Every child deserves to feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

After the Diagnosis: Building Connection and Understanding How the ABCs of ABA Help Us Understand Our Children

Join us as we explore how the ABCs of behavior (Antecedent, Behavior, and Consequence) can help families better understand their children's actions, strengthen communication, and build meaningful connections at home.

This Father's Day, we celebrate and recognize all fathers, caregivers, and father figures who provide love, guidance, support, and encouragement every day.

Thank you for the important role you play in the lives of your children and families. Your presence, dedication, and support make a meaningful difference.
