Meet the Faces Behind the Magic:
Get to Know Our Amazing Team

Ana Cecilia Luis Acosta
My name is Ana Cecilia, and that’s how everyone knows me. I’m someone who values growth, learning, and new experiences. My favorite food is grilled meat, a dish I truly enjoy and that always brings a sense of comfort and enjoyment. I studied in Cuba, where I graduated as a dentist, an experience that shaped my discipline, dedication, and passion for helping others. My family is a very important part of my life. I live with my husband and our daughter, and they are my greatest source of motivation and support. Together, we share a strong bond built on love, teamwork, and encouragement. In my free time, I enjoy discovering new places and exploring, as it allows me to relax, learn, and create meaningful memories. What I enjoy most about working at ABS is the opportunity it gives me to grow every day, both professionally and personally. Being part of this team motivates me to continue learning and improving. My goal is to further my studies in ABA therapy and continue developing my skills so I can keep contributing in a positive and meaningful way.

Ivon Martinez
My name is Ivon Martínez Jiménez. I was born in Santa Clara, Villa Clara, Cuba, and I am the youngest of three sisters, an experience that helped shape my sense of responsibility, perseverance, and empathy from an early age. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Technology in Cuba, specializing in Optometry and Optics, a field that strengthened my passion for healthcare and serving others. Cuban food holds a special place in my heart, and I also enjoy singing and listening to music, which brings joy and balance to my daily life.I currently live with my husband, our three children, my mother, and our beloved dog, who together form my greatest source of support and motivation. Family plays a central role in my life, and in my free time I enjoy watching piano tutorials, learning to play melodies that inspire and relax me. What motivates me most about working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis is the deep satisfaction of supporting children as they develop functional skills and successfully generalize their learning to natural environments such as home and community. My professional goal is to become a BCBA. Although this journey has been long and challenging, my commitment, consistency, and strong vocation for service give me full confidence that I will achieve this goal.

Craft Day in ABS
Date: January 14
Activity: Torn Paper Snowflakes Craft
Supplies Needed:
- White cardstock or construction paper (as the base)
- Light blue or white tissue paper
- Glue stick or liquid glue
- Black marker (to draw snowflake guidelines)
- Small bowl or cup (to hold torn paper pieces)
- Tray or flat workspace
- Set Up Your Workspace: Place a tray or sheet of cardstock on a flat surface. Draw simple snowflake guidelines on the paper using a black marker.
- Prepare the Paper Pieces: Encourage children to tear the tissue paper into small squares or irregular shapes. This step is great for developing fine motor skills and hand strength.
- Create the Snowflake: Apply glue along the drawn snowflake lines. One by one, place the torn paper pieces on top of the glue, following the shape of the snowflake arms.
- Fill and Decorate: Continue adding torn paper pieces until the snowflake is complete. Children can layer pieces or leave small spaces for a textured, snowy look.
- Final Touches: Allow the artwork to dry completely. Once finished, display the snowflakes around the classroom or take them home to celebrate winter creativity!
